Just in case your're interested. No software, etc.

About mid afternoon today, I was going to try and sync my watch with the TFP time (in the forum index). I noticed that the TFP clock was very close to the "national standard whatever time from Denver (the time that those "atomic clocks" sync to). Well, I have one of those atomic clocks, sync-ed my watch to it and pulled the trigger at 4:59:58.

Maybe you can use this in your e-bay auctions.

The rest is history! I'm still jealous of Loving HDTV for winning that stirrer :( .

For Ebay sniping, go to VRANE.com. It's free and it submits your maximum bid within a few seconds of the end of the auction. Also, DON'T place bids before this time, or you're just adding more to the end price, because others will keep raising it.

i know, i want the stirrer, i may just order one anyway. Congrats on the shirt anyway, i followed my computer clock which has seconds and when i posted at 5:59:58 it said 404 server not found, so i had to go back and refresh, and hope for the best, but that didn't work.

Hey guys! , do any of these work for trying to get concert tickets? (They go on sale on a Saturday morning @ 10:00 and at 10:00 i press the 'send' button and the concert is sold out !??! I'd really like to see Jimmy Buffett next time he rolls around without getting a 'nose-bleed' from sitting in the clouds

As has been shown to me, I am a bit behind on this, but I would think it would work.

That's sort of what I did. Sync'd my PC clock with the forum and pulled the trigger at 4:59:57 (just in case there was some lag time  )

I've only seen it for auctions. I hate that about concert tickets! I learned the only way around it is to wait for the added dates or subscribe to radio stations websites and they send presale passwords. Sometimes you can buy presale passwords on Ebay!

some poor little old lady in BFE Oklahoma will now have to do without. :(

Since my last purchase on EBay was a lot of 12 hot pink feather boas, I think we're all better off that she has to do without. The senior center would be hoppin!

No, I'm not a stripper, I bought them for my sister's Las Vegas Bachelorette party. It worked, 8 girls in hot pink feather boas walking through the casino's get a lot of attention, and comp'd into all the hot clubs!!! :whoot:
