Okay So I want to switch to pristine blue, but I am unsure of whether or not it would clear my pool. Can someone help me with good details possibly?

Pristine blue is copper based. Copper alone is not safe and thus the use of copper alone is illegal in public pools in the US (private pools are not regulated). You need to use a sanitizer along with copper. A sanitizer alone is sufficient, so there really isn't any need for copper.
Copper also suffers from a couple of problems, notably that levels high enough to be effective against algae are also high enough to cause stains and turn hair green.
