I had to study one of those pictures closely. I have a cousin in Petaluma who has a tractor service and has dug a few pools. But it wasn't him driving the bobcat. No way he'd wear white tennis shoes. Ever.
By any chance is your pool builder Janssen Pools? That's who did our pool. I figure your being in Petaluma it might be the same PB.

It's Herbs Pool service. They were originally based in Marin but also have a base in Petaluma that they opened some years ago.
I've very familiar with Herb's since that's where I get my chlorinating liquid and miscellaneous parts and chemicals in San Rafael. I knew they had a pool service with thousands of customers, but didn't know they built pools as well though I can see they mention that on their website.bobby1017 said:

Those are for the solar, there are 2 pipes, one is hidden in the picture. The valve allows the flow to be adjusted & turns on or off depending if the sun is out. I'm not totally familiar with the solar sys or all the equipment yet.
Worked on landscaping this weekend and the pebblecoat gets applied on Wednesday. I guess after approx 10 days the water will have "stabilized" and the auto cover will be installed then and other than cold water it will be ready. My solar racks are going to be the holdup as I'm doing them myself and as usual have too many things going on.
No pebble tech tomorrow, there are still some spots on the wall that are seeping too much water, I guess they are drilling some holes in the wet spots to aid drainage. They are all on the wall covered in shadow in the picture with me in the pool. There are 6 spots that will be drilled.
