Does it matter if you plaster on a hot day?

The guys are scheduled to plaster tomorrow. The forecast is about 90 by 2 pm. Forecast for Saturday is a high of 76.

Does it matter if they guys plaster on a warm day? Should anything be done differently?

Plaster is a Mini-Pebble, similar to Pebble Sheen, if that makes a difference.

I bet you are excited ! It was 100*+ when they did our pebble so you should have no problems .

I think the short answer is it DOES matter somewhat. Good plasterers will take precautions on a hot day that the material doesn't dry and set up too quickly. I would bring up the subject with the plasterer and gauge his reaction.

90+ is no problem for a plaster crew that has any experience. What you absolutely don't want is rain while the plaster is being applied or for about the next hour or two.
