The image is labeled as "return manifold", however, the pipes are connected to the suction of the pump.

I don't understand why the Sweep, skimmer, Pool return and Spa return are all tied together and going into the suction of the pump?

Mike answered this question already in his topic about this picture. The labeling is wrong, everything here is suction.
