Can I let SWG run under solar cover?

I have a ChlorEase over-the-side generator. We keep the solar cover on when we're not swimming and only run the pump during those times. In order to keep chlorine levels up, is it OK to leave the generator running when the pump is off and the cover is on?

Yes, but you need to keep an eye on the FC level. The cover greatly reduces the amount of chlorine lost to sunlight, so it becomes very easy for the FC level to get too high. Should it get wildly too high there might be problems.

OK, thanks, Jason. I still test pretty frequently, and I don't intend to leave it on all the time. But at the moment, I'm only running the SWG a couple hours a day and it isn't enough. A couple overnights should do it.
