learned something new today.

VF is running a 15 GPM program from 06:00 to 11:59 (cycle 1) and another at 18:00 to 23:59 (cycle 2).

Feature 3 is enabled from 06:01 to 11:59 which simply overrides the default 15 GPM to 20 GPM. This is needed in order to cause the voltage control relay to turn on the IntelliChlor as the 15 GPM program keeps the IntelliChlor turned off. The actual runtimes could just as well be 5+5 instead of 6+6.

Observed cycle 1 ran fine and cycle 2 started but stopped at some point before 23:59 (circa 21:00) with a message at the console "Running Power Save".

I have no details in the documentation/manual but came across this

Apparently I can tell the pump the pool is 25k instead of 15k and then it will execute the desired two cycles, first 6 hour window at 20 GPM and second 6 hours at 15 GPM. Another solution is to set turnovers to 2 instead of 1.

If you are running in Filter mode, which is the usual way to use the pump, there is a Turnovers Per Day setting. The IntelliFlo VF tries to figure out when it has made that many turnovers, ie pumped the number of gallons setup as your pool size, and it then goes into power save mode. Or to put that another way, it thinks it has moved enough total water and turns off. You can outsmart it in various ways, most commonly by telling it that your pool is larger than it actually is.
