ph/chlorine tester

Has anyone used this ph tester?? I was thinking of getting one of these..

I've never used one, but it only measures chlorine from 1.2-1.7 ppm, which isn't going to help much unless you're using a very small amount of CYA in the pool(12-17ppm). I can't imagine it's very accurate, pH or chlorine.

The PH test in that tester is not precise enough to be useful, and the chlorine test doesn't really work at all. There are more expensive PH testers that are fine, but testing chlorine electronically is very problematic. The only electronic chlorine testers that work usefully are colorimeters over $100, and even then there are significant limitations.
