Pool Calculator dumb ?

When it ask for temperature in the Pool Calculator what temperature is it asking for?

How hot or cold it's going to get weather-wise? Or the water temperature? or ???

I looked through all the directions and didn't find anything that specified what is meant.

Water temperature. That is one of the factors in calculating the Calcium Saturation Index.
