Welcome to TFP! I have only had mine in operation for a few weeks now, but I can tell you that once I cranked it up my handling of chemicals (chlorine) went way down and I don't have to worry about my chlorine level falling if I go out of town. There are other pros and cons that have been widely debated on this forum as this is a very hot topic.

If you do decide on a SWG use the saltpoolguys.com mentioned on this site. I purchased from them prior to knowing of this site and the coupon offer. They beat the best price I could find! I got the AutoPilot Dig 48 and couldnt be happier. My first pool this year and found it easy to maintain.
