Compu Pool users - need help

We had a CompuPool SWG installed (CPSC16) in November. It ran fine, but now the "Low Salt" fault light is on and it's reporting less than 2000ppm. However, testing the water shows 3700. Reading this board (which has been a God's send), I see that some SWG's will display this if the water is too cold. Currently, our water is hovering around 67 degrees, if not lower.

So in short, is this the reason for the fault, or do I have a faulty unit? We had a person install it, and conveniently, he won't return my calls. So I'm kinda stuck. And if it is the reason, do I still let it run, or just keep it off with the pump running?

Thanks.

I've turned off my SWCG for the winter (we've had days as low as 3 C and it's 19 C today in S.Florida, so much for winter...) and will turn it back on when weather remains stable above 20 C

Am maintaining pool with just BBB
