Jandy One Touch and PDA

I currently have a Jandy RS8 controlling my pool equipment. The outside panel is controlled from a wireless One Touch inside the house. The One Touch seems to be on the blink. Does anybody know whether I can replace the One Touch with a Jandy pda? Is it a straight swap or do I need a different wireless receiver at the outside panel?

As I recall, it's a different antennae. Additionally, you need to check the F/W level for the main controller. It might require a f/w upgrade. Older units may require a board swap.

The best option would be to replace the PCB with screen. The part number for the PCB is R0550800. The PDA won't be able to program if used with an RS system and the antenna would also need to be changed. Hope this helps!

Just in case somebody else was interested. Replacement LCD screen +/-$700. That's crazy!
