There is a brownish colored discoloration on my pool liner just above the water line about 4-5 inches high on the east end of the pool. That is the side that gets direct sun in our hottest part of the day and our summers do get very intense (118-120 degrees F). Is it just like a sunburn or something more? Is there anything I can do to safely remove it? Thanks.

Will it lighten with a good dose of bleach applied to it? You can also try a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.
Have some of your pool users been applying sun cream?
I have had a terrible job trying to shift some stains from sun cream as the chemicals used in sun creams are also used in the plasticisers of vinyl.

All of the pool users wear sunscreen. I will try the bleach and/or Magic Eraser. Thank you very much.
