Has anyone one tried this product? Does it work?

You can achieve the same results with a 5 gallon bucket. You may need to repeat the test if it rains, though.

I use a regular bucket too, although a possible advantage to this device would be that bucket tests are more accurate if the water in the bucket stays the same as the pool (by putting the bucket on the steps) so if you don't have steps this would be another way of getting an accurate "bucket test"
