Winterizing Above Ground Pool question.

In pool school it says before closing to get your pool to shock level and keep it there for 24 hours. I'm not exactly sure what that means..I know what shock level means...but what does it mean for 24 hours? do I test every few hours and add bleach for 24 hours?

Pretty much...or you can raise it to shock level and perform the overnight FC loss test. If you lose less than 1ppm you're golden
