Question about cell longevity

I have the larger Jandy Purelink(Aquapure) and was wondering if there is any difference in projected cell longevity if I run the cell at 80% for 6 hours vs. 40% for 12 hours.

Theoretically, it shouldn't make a difference since at both settings, you are really only running it 4.8 hours per day. I think the settings work much like the Aqualogic where they are really duty cycles which turn the unit on and off over a set period of time.
