LED Lighting Nexus Melody vs. Pentair Intellibright

I am in the planning stage of building an IG free form pool. One builder is using the Nexus Melody. I am not to sure about them. The good thing is that I can get 3 for the Same price as one Intellibright, you can place them in a sun shelf. The negative is they are not a standard size. Not sure if the Nexus 1 1/2" size will be around in 5 or 10 years if the stop working.

If it were me, I would be very reluctant to go with something uncommon and oddly sized. I've been around the board a while and have never heard of Nexus Melody.

i'm with MITS. Anything non standard may be hard to replace. You cant go wrong with that Pentair light. I have about the same light only it's a Hayward Colorlogic. Either one of those are good choices.
