Pool Light is very dim

Hello all!

Well I just got finished replacing my 500W/120V main pool bulb because all of a sudden it got very dim. I turn on the light expecting to see a well lit pool, but to my chagrin--the same dim lighting! Anyone have any idea what's going on? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!

My first guess would be a loose wire. Start at the breaker box and check that the neutral and hot are both tight. Power off first, of course.

You are sure it's not a 12V light, right?

Absolutely power off! on the road right now so I'll check the power cords as soon as I get back home in a cpl days. Thx for the reply!
