Hello,

Does this thread also applies to "re-paint" as well? pool-school/pool_plaster_start-up

I just re-painted my pool with Acrylic Blue from Leslie's but the only rules I know are basics such as: dry for 3 days, fill up pool non-stop, then balance chemicals. Also, how long must I wait before swimming? Any special required agent to protect the paint's life or stain preventative?

Any advice are appreciated. Thanks!

A painted pool is more like a vinyl pool and the steps you listed above should be about all that's needed. You can swim as soon as you have the proper amount of FC and the pH is in range.
