Hi All-

Any info about this product? I have a friend that swears by the stuff after a large pool party. He throws it into the pool right after all the people get out and it breaks up the sunscreen and other yuck!

Thoughts?

I don't know what the product is but you don't need it. Simply elevate the chlorine to perhaps 50% or even double it's normal level and that'll take care of it. Better yet, elevate the chlorine by 50% BEFORE the party and you'll likely see verylittle change in your pool at all.

Pool first aid is a mixture of an enzyme treatment (which helps break down oils more quickly) and a clarifier.

Normally, adding a little extra chlorine after a pool party is more than enough. In a really extreme case, with lots and lots of extra suntan oil in the water, you might get to a point where Pool First Aid is worth using, but only if it really was extreme and you were in a hurry. Chlorine alone will clean things up, generally within a day or two.
