CYA Storage

I just bought 100 lbs of CYA. Did think about how to store it. I was going to put it in three 5 gal buckets with plastic lids but I'm a little worried about corrosion. Though about the side of the house but my A/C units are close.

CYA is easy to store. The most important thing is that it stays dry. You need to worry about corrosion when storing chlorine, not CYA.

So I can keep it in the garage with no problems? Its 100lbs tub.

As you know it's expensive at the pool store. I have a friend who has a side pool cleaning business so I asked him to get me some CYA. It comes in 100 lbs canisters. I want to keep it in the garage but was a little concerned about corrosion.

That's like the Costco mentality!! "This 5 gallon bucket of guacamole was only twice as much as a little tub at the grocery store." :lol: :lol: :lol:
