"rust" spots on bottom of pool

We have a fibreglass pool and in the past couple of weeks I have noticed what look like rust spots on the bottom of the pool. They do not come up with brushing or rubbing.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks.

    Welcome to TFP.

Put a Vitamin C tablet on them. I use a PVC coupling to keep the tablet from moving with current.
