Where to add chemicals in an AGP

Probably not a new topic, but I have a hard time using the search feature on this site Anyway...I have an AGP and want to know the correct way of putting chemicals in the water. I have read to "add the chemicals to the deep end of the pool". What if the pool doesn't have a deep end? Then what

Currently I use the return area for most all of the chemical applications as this, to me, seems the most logical in lieu of a deep end as the water is circulating and distributing the product into the water.

Please chime in and give me your insight. Thanks.

In front of the return is the place to be to add chemicals.

Don't feel bad, I haven't had much luck using the search feature either!

But if you add any CYA..........either put it in the skimmer slowly or hang in a sock to dissolve. Don't just dump it in front of a return.
