Is the R-0013 fluid for the CYA test the same as sold by Taylor vs. Tf Kits ? I have the Tf-100 kit, but need more R-0013 regent. Taylor is selling the R-0013 regent 1 pint (16 fl oz) for a little less than TF kits sells the 8 oz.

Are they the same test kits? The reason I ask is I'd like to purchase the TF-100 but $18 for shipping is definitely on the steep side. If I buy the Taylor kit locally will I be able to get the same results?
I'd check the size of the reagents you get with each test kit. The TF-100 comes with bigger size reagents to begin with than the Taylor version. I made the mistake of buying the one from Leslie's locally.
If you do decide to go with the Taylor kit (which I don't recommend) be sure it's the K-2006. A lot of stores stock the K-2005 and tell people it's the same but it's not.
As said above, the reagent sizes are more in line with what you really need in the TF-100 than in the K-2006.
