How often are you having to add acid to your pool? If your pool needs acid fairly frequently to keep the pH from climbing too high, then you should probably get that TA down. Normal TA is usually between 80 and 120 ppm but a little above or below isn't always a bad thing.
 
TA is something that will eventually lower on its own as you add muriatic acid (MA) to control rising pH. You don't have to work at lowering it unless you want to get it under control faster. pH looks good now, let's see how long it takes to get to 7.8 or so. Then add MA to lower to 7.2 and watch it again. If you go lower, like to 7.0, it is good to aerate to hasten the rise in pH.
