    pH meter

    Anyone ever used a Hanna electronic pH meter?
    Fort Wayne IG Vinyl 18x36 (22,000 G)
    3/4 HP Pentair Pump
    Sand Filter
    Polaris 280 w/ booster pump
    Mount Airy, NC

    All PH meters need to be calibrated reguarly. A properly calibrated meter can be more percise than the usual phenol red PH test. I have never tried the Hanna meters.

    I used a pH meter for a short while and found it to be too cumbersome to do the frequent calibrations required.


    12,500 gal AGP, Hayward sand filter, Pentair 2-speed pump, timer.
