Here are my latest numbers from TF-100 testing:

FC -- 14.5
CC -- 0
pH -- 7.8
TA -- 150
CH -- 240
CYA -- 60

I have a 6-week-old pool. I'm told that the TA will be high on new pools, even pebble surface, for the first 30 - 60 days. I'm working on bringing the FC down by reducing % on salt cells. Is this cool, or do I need to be working on anything else?

You need to keep the PH under control - not worry about the TA, that is secondary to the PH. Keep the PH at about 7.6 and you should be fine. The TA will slowly come down over time as the surface cures, because the acid you use to keep the PH in check will also control the TA.

We recommend Muratic Acid for controlling PH/TA.

What % is the setting at now?
