Chunker37 - Introduction

Happy warm/hot summer to all. My pool hit a record 91 degrees this year and I'm only complaining a little. I'll take 91 over 71 any day. So here is our pool. It's a 20,000 gallon in-ground gunite salt water DE pool. Was installed in the fall 2005. It's shaped like a backward "P" and gets plenty of sun. Probably helps only being 6 foot at the deep end and 3 at the shallow end. I have a dive rock in the deep end and two jets at the opposite end and a 6 foot love seat in the middle. There are two skimmers and three bottom returns along with 2 side returns. I believe it measures 16'X34'. We have red brick coping and exposed aggregate concrete decking. It's open from late May to early October. I leave the pump running 24 hours a day until fall when I turn it off at night to retain heat. I couldn't survive the hot humid Northern Virginia summers without a pool. Thanks for all the great info on this site. Dave
