Hi all,

I like to have electric heater sauna next to my pool equipments (only space I can put the sauna). Unfortunatel no option to run new 240v wiring to the spot, all backyard is fully covered with concrete. The sauna heater uses 20amp, pool equipment is on 40amp fuse.

is it ok to add new gfci fuse to easy touch and make outlet from it. Please let me know if it is doable.

Thankyou,
Ned

Ned,

In general, I do not see any issues with using the EasyTouch to supply power to the sauna..

That said, you would need to know the amount of current your pool equipment uses first..

I would use a 220 GFCI breaker in the EasyTouch and hard-wire the sauna to it.

Were you planning to use the EasyTouch to turn the sauna on and off or just a place to get power??

Thanks,

Jim R.

If you don't feel comfortable working with electricity, I recommend that you think about hiring an electrician.

No need to kill yourself or burn down your house over something that is a simple issue for a pro.

Maximum load on a circuit should be 80% of breaker rating. 32 amps on a 40 amp breaker.

Jim,

Sorry for blurry pictures, just took them its dark outside.

I have pentair vsp pump, chlorine generator, gas heater.

thank you,
Ned

What will be the distance between the sauna and pool water?
