New to SWG, what to do about .5 CC

I just tested my water. FC is around 5.5 and CC .5. All other level in perfect range. Since I am new to using a SWG, what do you do when you get .5 or higher CC? Superchlorinate? Run higher % output for a few hours??

Unless it is greater than 0.5 ppm on the CC, you don't need to shock. Anything from 0.5 inclusive, all the way to 0 is fine as long as you are at your target FC for your particular CYA level.

You can use your SWG to shock using the superchlorinate function instead of adding bleach, but it will reduce the life of your cell.
..and probably isn't quite as effective since you don't get that instantaneous increase of FC that you get from dumping chlorine straight in.
