I thought I'd summarize a recent issue I was having with my Pool Pilot SWG (see my original post here http://www.troublefreepool.com/pool-pilot-not-generating-chlorine-t24030.html) and the solution in the hopes it will enlighten others.
Problem: SWG not generating any chlorine, constantly reads OFF, and a system test shows 0V.
Solution: SWG was configured to use a remote - I don't have a remote. Set it to use the External Timer instead. Also had the cell type misconfigured (set it to SC-48).
Changing these settings requires going into the Installer menu - you have to hold the button down for ~13 seconds so it's hard to do accidentally. But somehow I must have because it was working earlier in the summer. Chalk one up to operator error ...
