Mineral Springs No Flow

We have had a Mineral Springs Salt Generator for 2 years. All has been well until the No Flow light came on. Even though we could see no damage in the flow sensor, it was replaced under warranty. We hooked it up but the red light is still on. It seems to be in the right position. Any suggestions????? Thanks for any help.

Actually we picked it up from the pool place and we plugged it in. We made sure the arrow was in direction of the water flow. I am wondering if it was really bad or if the no flow light is on for another reason.

IF you still have your old flow switch, plug it into the control box. Leave the new in installed in the plumbing. Turn the pump on and manually activate the flow paddle. If it checks out ok, then you really have a flow issue.
Did you remove the cell to inspect for debris or scale formation on the blades?
What is your filter pressure?
Check all your valves to make sure they are all in the correct positions.
Check your pump and skimmer baskets.

They made us give them the old flow switch in exchange for the new. It was under warranty and was free. We did check the cell for debris and cleaned it with muratic acid. Filter pressure is 12-15. All valves checked out ok. Skimmer basket is ok. I have noticed that the pump is louder that usual. It could be going out. It is very loud. But, it seems to be working ok.
