Edited: Intelliflo - Power Failure and Remembering Settings

All three of the intelliflo pumps, the VF, the VS3050, and the VS3050+SVRS all remember some of the settings. (The SV3050 just remembers the four different user-set pump speeds, but still somehow remembers. The other two remember more complicated program settings.)

Anyone know how long an Intelliflo pump retains the programs the pool owner has programmed in, if there is a power failure?

Is there some sort of battery backup that keeps the settings intact in case of power failure?

It should remember for many years. The memory is designed to last for the lifetime of the pump. I'm not sure which exact technology they used, battery or non-volatile memory, but either one could last the lifetime of the pump
