Filter Pressure question

Some PB say a pressure of 10# is normal but our PB says 22# is normal.

:?: Why the diff?

Thanks to this board I am now questioning my PB recommendations, and of course the PSS.

Every pool is different. 10 psi is normal for some pools, 22 psi is normal for other pools. Anything from about 2 psi up to 30 psi might be normal. It depends on the size of the pump and the resistance to flow of the plumbing system.

All that really matters is knowing what pressure is normal for your pool by watching to see what the pressure is with a just cleaned filter.
