I want to make sure Im doing the CYA test correctly with the TF-100.
I believe I am seeing a 40 but not 100% sure.
When I hold the tube at waist level, am I looking down the hole into the tube until the black dot disappears? Or am I looking through the side of the tube? Cause it does change it significantly.
I have to assume its down the hole and into the tube or why would I be holding it low... Ok so that was a dumb question. But what about the black dot... Do I want it to completely disappear to the point where I cant even see any sign of it? If so, Im at a 40.
These tests are all great and help out a lot, but I cant always be sure Im accurate.
Like the Ch / PH tests... I have a hard time knowing exactly which color my water is which makes a very accurate reading tough for me.
