I see a strange yellow visual on items submerged in the pool

I am not sure if it is a sign of something but from about day 1 when ever I vacuum or drop something into the water I see on one side of any object a yellow blurry sort of visual on one side of the object submerged. There really is nothing there but the refraction of light through the pool makes that effect. Is it a sign of to much chlorine or not enough of something, or just light reflection dont worry about it

everything looks fine with my tests although my alkalinity always seems on the high side. I dumped a pail of baking soda or what ever it is they seel at pool stores last week, but I stillget the high alkalinity readings.

Putting baking soda in your pool will raise the TA. There is an article in pool school that will tell you how to lower TA.

If your test results "look fine", I wouldn't worry about the yellow.
