Polaris 380 and regular Vacuum

We have a Polaris 380 in our pool. We have it programmed to run a few hours each day before we get home from work. It does a good job of keeping the pool clean. Is there a need to use the regular vacuum or is the Polaris sufficient? After I treat for iron staining the product (StainFree) states that you should thoroughly vacuum the pool. Is the Polaris good for that or should I pull out the hose with the vacuum?

Creechy, if the Polaris gets the pool clean enough to satisfy you, I wouldn't bother with the regular vacuum.
