    Swimming after shocking

Can anyone tell me how long you have to wait before swimming after bringing your pool up to “shock level” (if any time is even necessary at all)? Thanks!

It is my understanding that you can swim as soon as it drops below your "shock" level of chlorine.

    Re: Swimming after shocking

So would these be reasonable steps to take for shocking your pool:

    Shock this evening
    Turn SWG off.
    Run filter overnight.
Swimming in the morning would be safe?

    Thanks

    Re: Swimming after shocking

probably, as long as you are below your shock level and your water is clear, it should be safe.
