Above ground pool with algea and milky water

I have a 24 ft round above ground pool with algea and milky water i did the phosphate treatment and most of the green went away still a little only at the bottom level of the pool. And I have the milky looking water now. The pool holds 13,974 gallons of water. Have an ionizor . Sand filter what do you suggest?

Take a look at How To Shock You Pool at Pool School. The cloudiness may clear up when you kill the last of the algae, or you may need a clarifier to get rid of the last of the cloudiness.
