Refilled my above ground pool 24 ft round and 5 foot high. Put a New SWG (Aquatrol), everthing worked great with clear water and then the rain came and the family tured the pump time off.

Problem: Green Water have added Algea and still green. Went to leslies and got the following results.

FAC: Low (0)
TAC: low (0)
Salt: 3000
Calcium Hardness: 200
CYA: Low (0)
Total Alkalinity: 110
PH: 7.5

Lost on what to do, got the SWG so I wouldn't have to buy a bunch of chemicals.

Any Help would be appreciated.

Pay special attention to the CYA level recommendations. Your SWCG can't keep up with loss from sunlight when your CYA is low.

It takes a substantial amount of chlorine and persistence to clear it. With the SWCG, you can't shut off the pump for any length of time since you lose your source of chlorine when you do.

You don't HAVE to keep the SWCG off, but it really won't contribute a lot.

Absolutely run the pump until the water is clear. You can make a significant dent in the green overnight if you stay after it. The reason many people have trouble clearing their pool is that they shock, then wait a day to retest. You want to check it hourly at first, then several times a day until things hold.
