This is the first time we've opened this pool. We used tap water to fill the pool.

At first we thought it was algae, so we shocked the pool with Green Out (About 3 times) and used Black Algae Out (Twice). The pool water is still green. We also regulated the Alkalinity and pH to correct levels, no luck.

Anyone know what's wrong?

Green out and Black Algae products won't help you. First, you don't have Black Algae. Second, Green out creates it's own chlorine demand.

You need chlorine, and lots of it. Shocking the pool begins with knowing your CYA level

- so if you don't have the proper test kit you'll need to get one, in the meantime, have your water tested at the pool store, and post the numbers back here so we can help walk you thru the process. :)
