CYA Powder or Liquid?

Hello all,

I am thinking I need to raise my CYA from what your advice and pool school tells me. Aside from cost, is there an advantage over one or the other?

I have read it could take a while to see a change when using the powder, does the same hold true for the liquid?

The liquid form dissolves much quicker than the powder does. This is the only real advantage as it is a matter of convenience. If expense is no issue, then it may be for you. Most of us tend to go with the powder since it is far less expensive and the amount of time it takes to dissolve isn't typically an issue.
