Whirlpools and Liner

Someone told me they don't allow their kids to create whirlpools in their AGP in fear it would pull on the lining. Is this something I should be concerned with? I personally love making whirlpools for the fun of it and I'm a grown adult!

I'm not sure if it myth or not...but most people tell me not to use bleach in my pool too Other than our ladder moving around, I really can't see it doing harm to the liner.

I've never heard that before. We did that in our AGP for years when I was a kiddo and there was never any problem. We would also "rock the pool" by taking a float or an innertube and rhythmically pushing it up and down on the water and it would create up to almost 2 ft. waves and caps. Crazy fun but it never damaged anything.
