3 yr old poured icecream shake into hot tub

I guess she was done with it..... sigh

its a small 225 gallon tub, I tried shocking it overnight but it still looks like an icecream shake was poured into it...

should I just empty it and start again? keep the jets running so water goes through the filter?

If it were me, I would probably just drain it and start over since it's such a small tub.

Yea, chlorine will take care of it eventually, but it would be so much chlorine that it is much simpler to drain and start over.
