Can I add chlorine with CYA??

Hello!

I am letting some CYA dissolve in a sock in front of the deep end return.

I am also shocking my pool (I think I have some algae--due to low CYA and the sun eating up my chlorine)

Can I add liquid bleach over the sock with the CYA in it?

If not, where else can I pour the bleach in (without it staining my liner)!!

Yes, you can. You can also pour the bleach around the perimeter of the pool. Just be sure to brush well after adding it and never add anything without the pump running. Do those things and no harm will come to your liner.
