Hayward CL220 Testing

Hi All. I'm new here and have a question about the Hayward CL220. I noticed a few days ago that one of the lines had come lose from the compression fitting. So I reattached it, but now my CYA reads 0 (with a test strip).

My question is: How do I test the feeder to make sure that it is still working properly. I have it full of tablets.

Welcome to TFP!

The only way to be really sure the chlorinator is working is to wait and see if the tablets are dissolving.

I wouldn't trust test strips, especially for CYA, which they are particularly bad at.
