Not sure if this is the right forum or not, but I'm sure someone will know. Rained like crazy yesterday and this morning we have cloudy water for the first time ever. Backwashed since the pressue was a bit high and have shocked. Can I run my navigator while the shocking is going on?
Can you use pool cleaner whiles shocking?

AFAIK, it is not recommended as the high chlorine levels can affect parts of the cleaner.
We have used the pool cleaner (Letro Legend II) while shocking -thus far, no apparent adverse effects...(although maybe this is a case of I-don't-know-what-I -don't-know.)
baudilus is right. The cleaner won't just fall apart instantly or anything like that, but it will reduce it's lifetime.
