Upgrading ladder I have a question

I don't like the intex ladder it's not very sturdy, I found a few nice ones on craiglist, can I use a regular pool ladder ot will it rip my liner in the intex pool.

You can use a regular pool ladder, wedding cake steps, etc. and if you're concerned about it chafing the liner just buy a ladder pad to put under the load bearing surfaces.
