Low CYA

Yesterday morning: Water temperature 75 and pool is uncovered. Water is crystal clear but FC is 1 ppm and CYA is less than 20 ppm. Used the Pool Calculator and decided to add 364 oz bleach to get the FC higher. Added tri-chlor tablets to the auto chlorinator since we are going out of town tomorrow morning for several days. Installed the new solar cover.

Here are the water parameters as measured at 8 PM last evening:
FC: 7.5
CC: 0
pH: 7.5
TA: 70
CYA: less than 20

Here are the water parameters as measured at 5:30 AM this morning:
FC: 7.5
pH: 7.5
TA: 70
CYA: less than 20

My plans are to wait till we get back and then test the pool water. Should I take action now to bring the CYA into specified range or wait till we return?

As long as you are going to be using trichlor for a couple of days, I would wait and deal with the CYA level afterwards.
