Possible to retrofit return eyeball?

The single return on my pool is just a hole coming out of the concrete. There's no eyeball, and seemingly no obvious way to install one. Is there a kit available to retrofit an eye-ball style return on these kind of openings? or would I have to have a pool contractor come out and cut into the concrete for this kind of install?

What size is the hole? They make push in fittings for 1.5" pipe. Don't use an eye that is less than 1".

The hole is probably 1 1/4" or so and it's oblong. It's basically like they built up concrete into kind of a lid that comes out of the side. It's very low pressure, even in pass-through mode.
